After Hours/MARSS

The After Hours/MARSS Program provides students of the Jared Eliot Middle School with after school activities. The activities offered allow students to try something new or nurture an existing interest. The MARSS program was established in the fall of 2011 to provide after school enrichment for students identified as Talented and Gifted at Jared Eliot Middle School. The MARSS acronym stands for Math and Research Science Seminar. Most of the MARSS offerings focus on math, science and engineering though we also provide offerings in art and music. Students identified as TAG may take any After Hours courses as well. The sessions run for four weeks on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at the end of the school day until 4:15 pm. Parents must provide transportation home.
